Funding4Sport

Herts Sport & Physical Activity Partnership (HSP) has had a formal partnership arrangement with Funding4Sport since 2015. Working with Funding4Sport, HSP supports clubs, schools and organisations across Hertfordshire to secure investment and lever external funding into the county. Funding4Sport offers expert advice on the availability of funding that could enhance the provision for sport and physical activity as well as a no-win-no-fee bid writing service.

Since working with Funding4Sport, they have successfully helped clubs to lever over £2 million into the county for sport and physical activity for projects totalling costs of well over £4 million. Some notable examples would be helping Hertfordshire Golf to secure funds for a disability project and Welwyn Wheelers with a large-scale facility bid to help make much-needed improvements to their facility.

Funding4Sport subscription

Funding4Sport offers a subscription website that offers clubs, schools and organisations a ‘one-stop shop’ for funding. It has over 2000 documents with information on funding streams, advice, templates, toolkits and policies to help those interested in sport and physical activity to gain funding.

The Herts Sport & Physical Activity Partnership can offer clubs, schools, and organisations a reduced annual fee to the Funding4Sport website (normally £16.99) for £4.99. It is simple to access this offer, simply sign up by visiting the Funding4Sport website and subscribing. You will need to add HSP into your username e.g., BatchwoodHSP and then apply for the £4.99 monthly membership. You will then automatically be allocated a yearly subscription.

Bid checking service

Funding4Sport also offer a bid checking service that includes looking through bids schools, clubs and organisations have written and advised them on changes they could make to improve that bid before submission, or if a bid has been unsuccessful, changes that could be made as part of a re-submission to increase the chances of that bid being successful.

If you would like to submit your funding application to the checking service, please contact Richard Sutcliffe.
