Social Prescribing Webinar with focus on the NHS Model

Anyone is welcome to join this Social Prescribing Webinar to understand the current landscape, mainly focusing on the NHS model.

The East of England Regional Physical Activity in Social Prescribing Leads are running a webinar to help those understand the Social Prescribing landscape. This will be running on Thursday the 29th of August, 3-4.30pm.

WHAT IS THIS WEBINAR ABOUT?

This webinar will walk you through the following:

  • The journey of social prescribing to date, with initial focus on the NHS model.
  • What makes good social prescribing (and what is not social prescribing).
  • Why we need to shift to a system focus of social prescribing as a support architecture and not just social prescribing as an intervention.
  • Social prescribing is everyone’s business - How collaborative working benefits all of us in social prescribing.
  • Why the relationships you have are key to progress, and the need to spend time on them – including ICBs / PCNs.
  • Why conversations matter.
  • Discussion time – ask questions that you have always wanted the answer to about social prescribing.

WHO IS THIS FOR?
Anyone who is interested in social prescribing who works in local communities providing support to local people, is welcome to attend. This could be through either, a strategic role and contribution or, face to face active delivery. Invite those people you know and you think would love to know more too. Remember, social prescribing is everyone’s business.
