Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport Week 2024

Everything you need to know to support and take part in the Keeping Your Child Safe In Sport campaign, 7-11 October 2024

The Herts Sport & Physical Activity Partnership is proud to support the NSPCC’s Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport (KYCSIS) awareness week running 7-11 October 2024.

The Child Protection in Sport Unit's (CPSU) Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport (KYCSIS) campaign aims to bring the sporting community together, create an open and inclusive culture where parents and carers feel able to speak up and raise any questions or concerns and help keep sport safe and fun for everyone.

This year the campaign focuses on building safer sporting communities for children. We’re asking teams and clubs to bring their sporting community together by hosting a Team Huddle. This can take place in the lead up to the week in October, during, or after! Whenever suits you most.

A Team Huddle is a great way for everyone involved in your sport or activity to get together to play, chat and connect. It also provides an opportunity to let parents, carers, volunteers and staff know about the part they play in.
