Inclusion in Sport Learning Series - Inclusive Uniforms and Kit

Girls playing football

We need to think about every aspect to ensure sport and physical activity is inclusive. A huge part of this is what we wear to get active. So often, poorly thought-out rules and stereotypes around kit hinder participation. In this webinar, we will explore the different ways that kit can impact on participation and provide tips on how to ensure kit can be inclusive.

In this webinar, we will explore:

  • How non-inclusive kit affects participation in sport and physical activity.
  • The barriers that non-inclusive kit create through examples, insight and experience.
  • What you can do to ensure your approach to kit is inclusive.

This Webinar is part of the Herts Sport & Physical Activity Partnership’s FREE 'Inclusion in Sport Learning Series' of 10 high quality webinars designed to increase colleagues’ confidence and awareness of inclusion and diversity.
