Free Early Years CPD

The Herts Sports Partnership is working with Hertfordshire County Council to provide some free Early Years CPD courses to individuals working in any Hertfordshire based Early Years Setting.

**Calling all Early Years Professionals in Hertfordshire**

We’re offering the Movement Matters workshop, in collaboration with Helen Battelley MA, on three different occasions.

This course will demonstrate the importance of movement in the early years and why, as a Prime Area of Learning is should be given more recognition as it feeds into other areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile. Movement is our first form of communication with the outside world and subsequent developmental processes. During this course delegates will learn both the how and the why of movement and movement play.

Helen is an internationally renowned consultant, trainer, author and speaker in Physical Activity / Movement in Early and Primary Education with an MA in Early Childhood Physical Activity and Movement Studies. Her training style is energetic, passionate and highly motivational. Helen is respected globally for her valued contribution to raising the profile of early years physical activity and reducing sedentary behaviours.
