Empowering Hertfordshire Residents to Live Longer and Better
How can we support healthier, happier lives for Hertfordshire’s ageing population?
Hertfordshire’s population is ageing rapidly. Currently, over 211,000 residents are aged 65 and over, representing 17.4% of the total population. By 2043, this figure is expected to exceed 23%, adding more than 75,000 seniors to our community. As our population ages, it’s crucial to explore the opportunities and challenges that come with an ageing society.
To mark the United Nations’ International Day of Older Persons on October 1st, in partnership with Age- Friendly Hertfordshire & Age Uk Hertfordshire, we are hosting a special "Live Longer Better in Hertfordshire" webinar. This online event will highlight ways we can work together to promote better health, wellbeing, and inclusion for older residents.
