SPACE First Steps Training

First Steps is an interactive workshop tailored for professionals who work with children aged 0 to 5 years, specifically those diagnosed with or on the pathway to a diagnosis of Autism. While the workshop primarily focuses on supporting children with such diagnoses, it also offers valuable insights for all EYFS staff, enabling them to better address the needs and behaviours of young children in their care.

Outcomes:

• Understanding sensory needs
• Understanding communication differences and preferences
• Understanding and supporting behaviour
• Supporting and promoting independence skills
