Brothers Inspiring their Community through ParkPlay

Brothers Billy and Louie have been at the heart of Hemel Hempstead ParkPlay since it launched back in July 2024. Every Saturday at 10am, they welcome the local community to Yewtree Primary School, creating a space where everyone can get active, connect, and have fun.

Billy shared:

Leading ParkPlay has allowed us to create a welcoming space where people of all ages and abilities can come together, have fun, and be active for free. We’ve seen people who were shy at first grow in confidence week by week. It’s amazing how just showing up on a Saturday morning can make such a positive impact

Working to bring ParkPlay into targeted areas across the county, Billy and Louie’s story is a great example of how Active In The Community help young people engage with local opportunities and becoming positive role models within their community.

ParkPlay is a free, weekly event held at parks across Hertfordshire every Saturday at 10am.
