Understanding Neurodiversity in Grassroots Sport Webinar

Join us for the first event in our 2026 East Region Sport Welfare Series – Understanding Neurodiversity in Grassroots Sport

On 3rd February, we will be joined by Danny Matharu, founder of WithinU, who will be taking you through an interactive introductory workshop covering key strategy building to:

  • Understand neurodiverse conditions
  • Identify needs and triggers
  • Adapt training and communication methods
  • Manage contest/game/match-day scenarios
  • Address misconceptions
  • Build inclusivity

Attendees will also receive a variety of resources to further embed learning, develop plans to enhance your inclusive offering at your club, and share key information on your social media platforms.

This is the first event in the East Region Sport Welfare Series funded and facilitated in partnership with Be Active, Active Norfolk. Active Suffolk, Living Sport and Active Essex.

As part of the No Limits 2026 Campaign Hertfordshire's Year of Disability Sport & Physical Activity, this training opportunity offers support for sport and physical activity organisations to become more inclusive, accessible, and confident in engaging people with neurodiversity.
