As part of the Inaugural National Para Badminton League finale weekend (running 6th-7th June), Badminton England are hosting a Community Para Badminton Taster Session which will take place on the monring of Sunday 7th June before the action starts. Delivered by qualified coaches, alongside players competing in the finals, the session is open to people of all ages in Hertfordshire with physical disabilities.
What to Expect:
The session will include small group, skill-based activities, followed by the opportunity to meet, rally with, and play alongside a Paralympian and some of the country’s top para-badminton players ahead of the finals later that day.
Attendees are then invited to stay on to spectate the main event running between 10:30-4pm
Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out!
Who is the event for?
Individuals with Physical Disabilities only (Manual wheelchair users and Ambulant individuals -Dwarfism, Amputee, Cerebral palsy etc)
8 years + (juniors and adults)
All abilities welcome
All equipment provided – Rackets, shuttles, fluff balls.
Please note: a limited number of sport wheelchairs will be available, though activities can be adapted for day chairs.
