Inclusive United CIC has successfully secured substantial funding to expand its inclusive sport and employability opportunities for young adults, with the support of Herts Sport & Physical Activity Partnership’s funded collaboration with Richard Sutcliffe of Funding4Sport’s specialist sport and physical activity bid writing service.
Richard brings extensive experience in attracting external funding and supporting organisations across the sport and physical activity sector. With a strong track record in partnership development, strategic planning, and funding applications, once an expression of interest is approved, he provides 1:1 client support to help you shape a comprehensive application to major funds. He worked closely with Inclusive United CIC to develop a clear and compelling proposal aligned with the organisation’s mission and community impact goals.
Through this collaboration, community interest company, Inclusive United has been able to secure £19,950.00 to deliver a 38-week programme which will use inclusive sport as a platform for progression, wellbeing, and leadership. The programme will support young adults with learning disabilities, neurodiversity, and additional needs (aged 18+) to build confidence, make friends, develop leadership, and learn transferable skills, whilst staying healthy and fit. It is hoped that this will also help develop meaningful pathways into volunteering and potential work opportunities.
Richard Sutcliffe, Funding4Sport, said:
“It was a real pleasure working alongside Inclusive United throughout the application process. The team have a clear vision for the impact they want to make, and our role was to help shape that into a strong, compelling bid. The process involved working together, with open communication and a shared commitment to ensuring the application truly reflected the community they serve. I’m delighted that the bid was successful and excited to see the project move forward.”
Tracy Light, Co-Founder and Director of Inclusive United said:
