Making facilities more accessible for disabled people

An insightful talk on the strides made to make facilities more inclusive for people with disabilities. The workshop will include some key information/statistics from Activity Alliance research as well as some simple steps you can take to make your sports venues more accessible.

In addition there will be a in depth look at the steps that Watford FC have taken to develop an inclusive stadium for disabled people. The principles highlighted can be applied to any sports venue big or small.  

This workshop is aimed at anyone responsible for or interested in making sporting venues of any size accessible to all. 

The event forms part of the Inclusion in Sport Learning Series and has been developed in collaboration with Watford FC, Activity Alliance and the University of Hertfordshire.
