Are you passionate about creating opportunities for people to lead active, healthier lives? The Herts Sport & Physical Activity Partnership (HSP) is on a mission to help More People, be More Active, More Often—and we need your expertise to make it happen.

We’re looking for Independent Board Members who can bring fresh ideas, diverse perspectives, and a commitment to tackling the barriers that prevent people from getting involved in sport and physical activity. As a Board Member, you’ll play a vital role in shaping strategies that support communities who need it most.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong connections with local communities and organisations in Hertfordshire.
• A belief in the power of sport and physical activity to address social challenges.
• Diverse experiences, knowledge, and skills to enrich our Board.
• The time and commitment to make a meaningful impact.

We’re Especially Interested In People Who

• Bring expertise from sectors such as community, business, education, health, criminal justice, or sport.
• Understand the challenges faced by Hertfordshire’s sport and physical activity sector.
• Recognise barriers for people who are disabled, living with long-term health conditions, from ethnically diverse communities, or less affluent areas.
• Advocate for groups like women and girls, older adults, and young people.
