HAPpy Camps will be back once again for the Summer School Holiday

Children and young people in Hertfordshire who receive benefits-related free school meals can attend this fully funded holiday activity provision.

Parents, guardians, head teachers, governors, pastoral leads, SENCOs, school admin staff - HAPpy Camps free activity camps, offering a wide variety of activities for children, with a hot lunch included too!  Every camp is SEND-inclusive. This means they can cater for lower-support-needs SEND alongside provision for children without additional needs, whether a child is formally diagnosed or not (provided the right information is supplied with their booking). SEND-specific camps are also available for children with higher support needs. 

This Summer, the HAPpy programme will be running free activity camps from 27th July to 28th August (not bank holidays), and with over 45,000 free activity camp places available, eligible families are being encouraged to reserve a place at a camp near them as soon as possible. 

Get set by making a note of these key dates in your diary today: 

  • Thursday 18th June – Unique booking codes will start going out directly to families from 18th June onwards, so check your inbox for your code. 

  • 27th July to 28th August – HAPpy Camps Summer programme runs between these dates 

The HAPpy Team will be in touch with schools regularly between early June and the summer holiday with more information and to make sure booking codes reach everyone eligible.
