Getting Active with Hypertension
Join our Masterclass Webinar on Hypertension!
In partnership with Study Active, Live Longer Better in Hertfordshire are hosting a Masterclass Webinar. This webinar will explain what hypertension is and the different stages of hypertension. We will look at how exercise can benefit hypertension and the exercise guidelines and considerations. We will also briefly discuss some of the medications that are taken for hypertension and the implications of these on exercise.
In Hertfordshire, around 1 in 4 adults live with high blood pressure (hypertension), consistent with the national UK average. However, many are unaware of their condition, as hypertension often presents no symptoms.
