Enhancing Inclusive PE & Sport Practice Using Adapted Equipment

The fifth workshop in our No Limits 2026 Disability Inclusion Learning Series led by trusted school PE equipment supplier Sports Directory.

This practical course will support teachers, teaching assistants and sports coaches to develop confidence in creating more inclusive PE and school sport experiences within mainstream and special schools.

It will explore common barriers to participation including student-centred planning, adaptation and risk assessment. It will also focus on incorporating Inclusive equipment in PE, from simple adaptations to direct equipment swaps as well as provide specialist resources. Attendees will be able to see the range of adapted equipment available and access an exclusive discount code if they wish to purchase any equipment following the workshop.

Participants will also consider inclusion across enrichment activities, competition, and play settings, helping them apply inclusive approaches across the wider PE and school sport environment.

Practical examples and case studies will be used throughout the session to demonstrate how you can apply learning and the adapted equipment in your respective settings.
