Dementia Awareness Training for Tennis Coaches

Dementia Adventure is delivering a free, in-person training designed specifically for Hertfordshire tennis coaches, officials, and volunteers. Fully funded by Herts Sport & Physical Activity Partnership and Live Longer Better in Hertfordshire, and delivered in support of the #NoLimits2026 campaign, this course offers practical learning that will make a real difference on and off the court.

This engaging and interactive session will equip you to:

  • Confidently deliver dementia-inclusive tennis sessions using practical, real-world tools
  • Challenge and reshape perceptions of dementia, opening up new ways of thinking
  • Communicate more effectively with players, families, and volunteers
  • Manage risk with confidence, creating safe and welcoming environments
  • Gain official recognition with a digital badge that showcases your club’s commitment to dementia inclusion
