Coaching Visually Impaired Bowlers Workshop

Taking place at Harpenden Indoor Bowling Club, Visually Impaired Bowls England (VIBE) will be hosting a Coaching Visually Impaired Bowlers Workshop on Friday 18 September 2026.

The day will include two elements: a free taster session for individuals with a visual impairment to come along and try the sport for the first time, and a coach education session for any club representatives interested in learning how we can make more visually impaired bowlers welcome into the game and into your club settings, and give your coaches the skills and confidence to coach visually impaired bowlers to open more opportunities for participation for the VI community. A small fee will apply for coaches, with the final cost to be confirmed.

Doors will open at 11:30am for tea and biscuits with the workshop running from 12:00 until 15:30. The bar will be available throughout and all drinks and snacks will be purchasable via the Square terminals on the concourse.
