CIMSPA Careers Hub Launches to Boost Career Pathways in Hertfordshire

The Careers Hub gives schools, colleges, and training providers a trusted tool to guide students into sector roles.

CIMSPA has launched the Careers Hub, which has been designed to support people entering or progressing in the sport and physical activity sector. For Hertfordshire, it directly supports key priorities being led on by the Sport and Physical Activity Local Skills Accountability Board including, strengthening education-industry links and tackling workforce development and training needs.

The platform brings together:

  • Recognised training and qualifications
  • A live jobs board
  • Career pathways and sector insights
  • Guidance on volunteering, self-employment, and recruitment
  • Support for employers on hiring and retention

As Hertfordshire works to connect education with real-world career opportunities, the Hub gives schools, colleges, and training providers a trusted tool to guide students into sector roles. It also helps tackle local skills gaps by making CPD and workforce development more accessible—especially now that the CIMSPA Training Academy is hosted within the platform.

Employers across the county can also benefit, with practical advice on attracting, onboarding, and keeping quality staff—supporting Hertfordshire’s wider ambitions for a skilled and resilient workforce.

“The Careers Hub will empower individuals to take their next step and give employers the support they need to thrive,” said Natasha Eason, Associate Director of Education at CIMSPA.
