This webinar is designed for social care staff who support people with disabilities and want to build confidence in promoting physical activity as part of everyday care and support. The session will explore why physical activity matters, the positive role social care staff can play, and practical ways to encourage inclusive, enjoyable movement tailored to individual needs.
Bringing together national insight, local opportunities, and lived experience, the webinar will highlight inclusive physical activity options across the local area and demonstrate how initiatives such as No Limits 2026 can help create lasting, positive change. Attendees will leave with practical ideas, local signposting and referral options, and renewed confidence to support people with disabilities to be more active in ways that work for them.

This keynote will share insights from Activity Alliance, Sense and Disability Rights UK on research into the vital role and recommendations for support works in supporting and enabling people with disabilities to be physically active.
An introduction to No Limits 2026, outlining its vision, aims, and impact. This session will explain how organisations and professionals can get involved, champion inclusion, and support opportunities for disabled people to be active in their communities.
A snapshot of local physical activity offers in Hertfordshire for people with disabilities, including who it supports, how to access services, and how the social care workforce can signpost or refer patients.
An open Q&A session allowing attendees to ask questions, share reflections, and explore next steps for supporting inclusive physical activity in social care and community settings.
