2026 Herts Summer Parks Dates Announced

The Herts Sport & Physical Activity Partnership, in collaboration with Hertfordshire County Council and local partners, is pleased to announce the return of Herts Summer Parks in August 2026.

This initiative, now in its 4th year of delivery, is designed to help address gaps in provision for 12–16-year-olds across Hertfordshire during the summer holiday period. Running across August, the programme will take place in five public parks and offer a wide range of free sports, wellbeing, and arts and crafts activities. Activities in pervious years have included; inflatables, Zorb footballs, BMX bike tracks, graffiti art, summer craft making and much more! Young people who attend also receive a voucher to redeem a nutritious meal from a local food provider.

Welwyn Garden City: 

• Mondays (3^rd,10^th,17^th August)
  King George Playing Fields, Beehive Lane, AL7 4BP 

Broxbourne: 

• Tuesdays (4^th,11^th,18^th August)
  Waltham Cross Playing Fields, Station Approach, EN8 7LU 

Borehamwood: 

• Wednesdays (5^th,12^th,19^th August)
  Meadow Park, Broughinge Road, WD6 5AL 

Watford: 

• Thursdays (6^th,13^th,20^th August)
  King George V Playing Fields, Tolpits Lane, WD18 9QD 

Stevenage: 

• Fridays (7^th,14^th,21^st August)
  King George V Playing Fields, Sish Lane, SG1 3LS
