Who could you signpost to free HAPpy Camps this Easter school holiday?

With less than two weeks to the school Easter holidays, we need your help to reach families who might be missing out on FREE HAPpy Camps.

HAPpy Camps is a fully funded resource for children and teens receiving benefits-related free school meals during term time. They offer a hot lunch alongside physical activity and enrichment opportunities for children, plus several hours of childcare over the Easter school break to plug the holiday gap for families.

Places are booking fast, with over two thirds already taken, so if you work with or know or a family who would benefit from this fantastic provision then please spread the word today, so they don’t miss out.

There are lots of different camps to choose from to suit each child or teens interests. All camps are SEND inclusive, so they can accommodate children with lower-support-needs SEND and behavioural challenges. There are also SEND-specific camps for children with higher support needs.

We have had some videos created to show what to expect from HAPpy Camps, how to get the most out of them and how to book, which you might like to pass on:

How to book

Parents and carers will need their child’s unique Easter HAPpy booking code, which they should have already received from the school via email.

They can then book their child at www.bit.ly/HSPNL3HAPpyCamps using the code.

HSP are proud to be working in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council and Hertfordshire Community Foundation to offer HAPpy Camps, as part of the Department for Education’s ‘Holiday Activities & Food Programme’ (HAF).
