Cycling in Hertfordshire
Hertfordshire has lots of cycle routes to explore. Whether you are new to cycling or an experienced cyclist, we can point you in the right direction for your needs. The information below will let you know where you need to look to find out about joining led cycle rides, finding cycle route maps, learning how to ride, bike maintenance, where you can ride adapted bikes, and last but not least, where you can join a cycling club (if you wish to do so!).
Led cycle rides
If you would like to cycle with others on a social basis, visit the Lets Ride website to find out about organised led rides that are happening all across Hertfordshire.

Hertfordshire cycling routes
Hertfordshire County Council have mapped all of the best cycling routes in Hertfordshire. You can watch them on their YouTube channel. They also have a Hertfordshire map with cycle routes clearly marked on it. You can email them to request a free map or download a version.
The Countryside Management Service has information on lots of cycling routes in Hertfordshire and includes:

- the time it will take to cycle it
- what level of ability you will need to be
Cycle hubs
Cycle hubs aim to provide a meeting place for cyclists and non-cyclists to catch up over coffee and cake, go on social, guided rides, hire bikes, run learn to ride courses and much more.
