The Herts Sports and Physical Activity Partnership are excited to announce their HSP Lockdown Award Winners. The online awards took place this year as a one off to highlight the amazing work and achievement of Hertfordshire’s sporting community throughout a difficult and uncertain time for Hertfordshire sport.
As we enter another lockdown, what better time to announce our fantastic Lockdown Award Winners. The awards proved very popular with over 100 nominations across our five categories. For the first time the Partnership introduced an online public vote which saw just under 4000 votes coming in for the 100+ nominees. It generated some great social media coverage with clubs and groups promoting their nominees through the different online channels.

Three special awards were introduced selected by our Director, Chair and Vice Chair and the winners of these awards were:

HSP Chairman’s Award
Winner – Stevenage FC and Stevenage FC Foundation – Community Careline Project
HSP Vice Chair’s Award
Winner – Watford Borough Council – Oxhey Activity Park
