The Herts Sports and Physical Activity Partnership, in collaboration with East Herts District Council and Hertfordshire’s Armed Forces Covenant Board are seeking the public’s views on a new project that looks to raise the physical activity levels of armed forces veterans.
In accordance with national research which states that veterans are more likely to be inactive and less likely to participate in sport and physical activity than others, the project looks not only to get people moving more, but also to rekindle the quality of comradeship with which the forces align so closely. Anyone who has served in the British Army, Royal Navy or Royal Air Force is encouraged to support the consultation process by sharing their opinions about how the project should be shaped, in order to best suit their needs and expectations.

Pandemic restrictions allowing, the project will start in early 2021, and aims to engage as many local veterans as possible. For more information please contact Charlie Mann on email@example.com.
