Louise is the Regional Ambassador for parkrun UK and also a local magistrate. Her advocacy for how sport and physical activity changes lives, coupled with her practical approach has brought Louise to the forefront of the area’s parkrun circuit, where she supports new and existing events. From her time running a City of London based business she developed strong marketing and commercial skills and the ability to create relationships that empower others. She is Vice Chair of the Local Governing Board and Chair of the Marketing Committee at Princess Helena College in Hitchin and has a particular interest in how to make physical activity ‘cool’ for teenage girls.

Louise is also Vice Chair for Garden City Runners and an avid skier and walker.

She is a recent convert to the transformative power of sport and ran her first two marathons on her 50th birthday and has raised over £12,000 for the British Heart Foundation.
