Links between schools and local sports clubs (also known as Physical Education, School Sport and Club Links – ‘PESSCL’) have been happening for many years and can take all kinds of shapes and sizes.

School-club link projects work by joining school sports and physical activity programmes with local sports clubs providing young people with the opportunity to experience a wider range of sports and a clear pathway in to a club environment after they leave school. These projects also provide sports clubs with the chance to promote and deliver their sport further within the local community.
